| The seminar was sponsored by LTSN-ICS and hosted by London Metropolitan University on September 8, 2003. This event aimed to devise a model of visual and graphical information skills that reflects the multi-faceted nature of information within the paradigm of information consumers and providers. As a result of the seminar, a network between academics operating within the Library and Information Science disciplines and practicing Information Designers has been established in order to identify the visual competences that Information Professionals need to enhance their role as information providers. |
