Social Media and Independent Learning Education in Schools (SMILES)
Call for participants
I am preparing a research proposal to examine the experience of social media and independent learning by librarians and teachers operating in UK secondary schools.

I’d like to examine both of these professional groups to assess the extent of collaboration between them in encouraging students to become independent learners. My aim is to set up a network of teachers and librarians from which I can draw samples for an online survey and 1 to 1 interviews (these could be done face to face, by phone or by email depending on your availability).

Pending on the successful outcome of my bid, I would expect the survey and interviews to run in the latter part of 2012.

If you are interested in participating in this research please read the form available below and email me your consent at s.andretta@londonmet.ac.uk
