17 September 2009
wellcome_entrance

The conference is organised by the NHS England Library Staff Development Group,London Health Libraries and the Consortium of Independent Health Information Libraries in London.

This event took place at the Wellcome Conference Centre.

How to get to the Wellcome

EBIL is a conference organised 'by practitioners for practitioners'.

The purpose of this event is to bring together the IL educators who have completed the courses and projects sponsored by NLH. The event will offer the opportunity to discuss and share good practice with conference attendees drawn from NHS, university-related libraries and independent health libraries.

By bringing together these diverse communities of practice we hope to begin to establish an over-arching network of IL practitioners and a wealth of examples on the impact of information literacy education on evidence based medicine and patient care.
